Immediately following Public Hearing
1. CALL TO ORDER: Town Chairman William Goehring opened the Board of Supervisors Special Meeting by calling to order at 7:30 pm at the Silver Creek Fire Department. The meeting was held in compliance with the open meeting law having been posted at the National Exchange Bank in Adell, Adell Mini Mart, Midway Mart and the Silver Creek Fire Department.
2. ROLL CALL:
Members Present: Town Chairman William Goehring; Town Supervisors Lester Miller, William Miller, James Fahney, and Robert Boehlke
Members Absent: none
Others Present: Clerk/Treasurer Rhonda Klatt, Sherman Property Owners Robert Susen, Joe & Martha Nennig, Schott Cramer, Noel & Susan Cramer, Tamara Koop, David Wilkens, Attorney Jim Hughes, Sounder Reporter Rodney Schroeter
3. Rezone Request as applied for by Noel & Susan Cramer: 2+ acres of A-1 land to be parceled off from larger farm to allow for immediate family member to construct residential home. Part of the NW ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 32, T13N, R21E, Creek Road. Zoning change request A-1 to R-2, proposed use Residential.
Motion by L. Miller, seconded by Boehlke, most voting in favor to approve the rezone request as applied for by Noel & Susan Cramer to rezone 2+ acres of A-1 land to R-2 for a proposed Residential use. Motion carried 4-0-1, Goehring abstained as a longtime neighbor of the Cramers.
4. Presentation of Rezone Request as applied for by Robert Susen: 3-4 acres with original farmstead with the intent to sell house and buildings, and to farm the remaining 36-37 acres. Part of the NW ¼ of the NW ¼ of Section 15, T13N, R21W, Bates Road. Zoning change request A-1 to A-5, proposed use Residential
Motion by W. Miller, seconded by Fahney, all voting in favor to approve the rezone request as applied for by Robert Susen with the condition that the remaining 36-37 acres will have a deed restriction stating that it is not to be a buildable site, which Mr. Susen is responsible for showing proof of such restriction to the board at the next regular meeting. Motion carried 5-0.
5. ADJOURN: Motion by W. Miller, seconded by L. Miller, all voting in favor to adjourn. Motion carried 5-0. Time: 7:35 p.m.
