Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at 7:00 P.M. at the Town of Sherman Meeting Hall located in the Silver Creek Fire Department a PUBLIC HEARING on the PROPOSED 2012 BUDGET of the Town of Sherman in Sheboygan County will be held. The proposed budget in detail is available for inspection at the town clerk’s office; call for an appointment.

Wednesday, November 2, 2011 Following 2012 Budget Public Hearing
Notice is hereby given that a special town meeting of the Town of Sherman, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, will be held in the town at the Silver Creek Fire Department, W6566 State Highway 144, Random Lake, on the 2nd day of November, 2011 immediately following the completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed 2012 town budget which begins at 7:00 p.m. for the following purposes:
1. To approve the total highway expenditures for 2012 pursuant to s. 82.03(2)(a) of Wis. Statutes;
2. To consider the adoption of a resolution by the town meeting endorsing a town board resolution which proposes that the town levy exceed the state allowable levy limit under s. 66.0602 of Wis. Statutes, specifically a proposed tax levy which would exceed the allowable town tax levy for 2011 by 27.26 percent which would be a dollar increase of $75,219;
3. To approve the 2011 total town tax levy to be collected in 2012 pursuant to s. 60.10(1)(a) of Wis. Statutes.
